Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation Awards Grant to Anything For Our Youth Group Partnership increases access to nutritious food, provides nutrition education
Lexington, NC – Anything For Our Youth Group has received $3000 from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to help nourish neighbors experiencing hunger.
The “Nourishing Our Neighbors” grant supports community feeding partners as they tackle food insecurity and promote healthier lifestyles through nutritional education initiatives.

The Nourishing Our Neighbors grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation helped support the mission of Anything For Our Youth Group by allowing us to promote healthier lifestyle choices during our 7th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Celebration in Lexington, NC/DavidsonCounty, NC.
This event served as a platform to engage families in meaningful dialogue about wellness, share educational resources, and celebrate cultural heritage. We were able to have a youth artist studio and presentation for all attendees to see our youth talent during the celebration. As we look ahead, this support strengthens our ability to expand programming that addresses food insecurity and empowers youth and families across our community.
The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation is committed to supporting families facing food insecurity across its 10-state footprint. Established in 2001, the foundation provides financial support for programs and organizations dedicated to feeding local neighbors in the communities it serves.
Since its inception, the foundation has awarded nearly $23 million in grants.
